Building Tomorrow's Talent
At Air Cross Solutions, we believe in investing in the future of our industry. Our Apprenticeship Program is designed to attract, train, and develop the next generation of HVAC professionals. By combining hands-on experience with formal training, we give apprentices the skills, knowledge, and confidence to build a rewarding career while contributing to safer, smarter, and more sustainable buildings.

The Apprenticeship Journey
Our program is built around a year-by-year development path:
Year 1
Foundations: safety training, technical basics, learning on-site processes.
Year 2
Building skills: working under supervision, TAFE/RTO study, learning trade techniques.
Year 3
Greater responsibility: independent tasks, problem-solving, exposure to projects.
Year 4
Leadership readiness: advanced technical work, mentoring junior apprentices, preparing for trade qualification.
Available Trades & Pathways
Mentorship & Support
Every apprentice is paired with a dedicated supervisor and mentor. Our team ensures you are supported not only in technical training, but also in safety, teamwork, and personal development.
State-Specific Information
New South Wales (NSW)
- Formal training through TAFE NSW or RTOs.
- Training Contracts managed by NSW Training Services.
- Completion leads to a nationally recognised qualification and Certificate of Proficiency.
Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
- Must be employed by an ACT-based employer.
- Minimum of 15 hours per week (work + training).
- Off-the-job training delivered through approved ACT RTOs.
- Employers must provide compliant supervision under WHS laws.
Queensland (QLD)
- Minimum age: 13+ (varies by trade; electrotechnology requires 16+).
- Minimum hours: 15 hours/week part-time, ~38 hours/week full-time.
- Apprenticeship Training Plans registered with the Department of Youth Justice, Employment, Small Business and Training.
- Nationally recognised qualifications on completion.
